Craft Beers You Need to Try Today
Connoisseurs of beer know that those cheap old beers you faked an ID to buy when you were a teen aren’t worthy of your taste buds. No, no, no. Beer is so much more than that. Craft beers have taken the world by storm, offering better flavors that awaken your spirit. If you’re a connoisseur of craft brews, then you need to get your beer bucket list ready and get a taste of these highly recommended craft beers.
120 Minute IPA – Dogfish Head
If you love a cold one that can give you a high alcohol content, try this one to get that buzz you’re after quickly!
The Abyss – Deschutes Brewery
Into dark stouts? This one hits big with notes of molasses and licorice for a complex taste that satisfies.
Cable Car – The Lost Abbey
It’s a little sour, but in a very good way. If you always suck on the lemon wedges that adorn your drinks, you should give this one a try.
Bigfoot Barleywine Style Ale – Sierra Nevada
Robust, much like its namesake of Bigfoot, this one will warm you up through and through.
Fancy Lawnmower – Saint Arnold
The unusual label might be enough to draw you in. After all, it showcases a bishop that is mowing the lawn. Funny graphics aside, this warm-fermented, cold-conditioned beer is like a lager but a dash more complex.
Brown Sugga – Lagunitas
Here’s another one with a high alcohol content. Despite that though, sweet brown sugar (hence the name of Brown Sugga) helps bring a proper balance to the heady hops.
Prima Pils – Victory
A light and true pilsner that brings more flavor than typical watered-down pilsners from the mainstream. This is what you should be drinking instead of that trite backwash you fished out of the back of your fridge.
Alpine Great – Alpine Beer Company
Aged in the same barrels as Jack Daniels, you know this one is going to be a strong one. This beer brings it with a powerful punch of bourbon and caramel flavors, along with subtle hints of chocolate and vanilla. Who needs dessert when you can just drink this instead?
Pliny the Younger and Pliny the Elder – Russian River Brewing Co.
And finally, all craft beer enthusiasts need to get a hold of both of these. While Pliny the Elder is fairly easy to track down, most people have a hard time finding Pliny the Younger. Both are insanely delicious IPAs that are worth the effort to find and drink immediately.

Molasses, tart cherry, vanilla, The Abyss was a nice surprise and the first craft beer I’ve had. Thanks for the list, I know what to ask Santa from now on haha!
