Blue Water Daiquiri and Oyster Bar
The Blue Water Daiquiri beach bar has fabulous fresh seafood and wonderful, colorful, if a bit sweet drinks. If you like to taste the liquor, you should order a double. You absolutely must have a frozen Daiquiri, I mean that’s what they’re famous for, so you know they’re good!
We started with an appetizer of Ahi Tuna with wasabi and teriyaki (on the side), which was slightly seared, perfect for me, too pink for her, oh my, so I had to eat it all myself. But, she ordered a Crab Cake with their signature remoulade sauce.
I had my usual Corona with a twist of lemon and she had the frozen daiquiri, which said was very delicious! For dinner, I had the teriyaki Salmon, julienne carrots and zucchini with these homemade chips with bacon, green onions, melted blue cheese and ranch dressing for dipping. Wow!
She ordered a mixed salad with garden greens and golden chicken tenders on top, plus bacon, avocado, onions, tomato, tortilla chips and their chipotle ranch.
I asked her is that all she wanted was a salad and of course she claimed she was not very hungry, but devoured most of my home made chips! L
Our conclusion and Beach Bar Review Drink Rating
This bar/restaurant has Cajun/Creole style food, so expect it to be spicy! If you like your Tuna or Salmon well done, be sure to ask for that. I like mine pink, cooked just enough so it’s not dangerous. We had a chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert. I didn’t care for it, I don’t know, something about cake and beer just doesn’t mix well but she said it went well with her daiquiri. The service was on the spot and the food was good enough for the price. Those chips were amazing, though. The chips alone would be enough to stop by for a while.
We give Blue Water Daiquiri a 4-drink rating for providing great drinks and delicious spicy foods.
