Whiskey Joe’s Bar & Grill — Beach Bar Review
Located right on the water off the Courtney Campbell Causeway in Tampa, Florida, Whiskey Joe’s is a hot place to hang out with friends and enjoy a delicious frozen cocktail or ice cold beer. From the moment you walk into this place, you know you are in store for a great time. The food is incredible. I recommend starting the night off with Joe’s Pile of Nachos while you drink a couple of beers.
If you are feeling adventurous give the gator bites a try! The gator bites are chunks of alligator with garlic pickles and chipotle aioli. However, if you are feeling like something a bit more traditional, the burgers and wings are outstanding. I recommend trying the Whiskey Burger in Paradise for a tropical kick. This burger is full of flavor with the strawberry-guava barbecue sauce and rum-glazed pineapple on top. This bar is a fun place to enjoy happy hour, dinner, or to host a private party. Great service, unique food, cold beverages, and reasonable prices makes this restaurant a must when visiting Tampa!

Always a great time! So, the night we went there we started with a Pile of Joe’s Nachos, loaded with shredded cheese, queso, spicy beef, guacamole, beans, jalapeños, pico de gallo, and sour cream. My god, it’s a mountain of nachos and a half dozen oysters on the half shell with Tabasco! Then for dinner I had the Joe’s Jambalaya with island rice and a bowl of Spicy Island Gumbo. There was so much chicken, sausage, and shrimp in the Jambalaya, I could hardly find the veggies. My companion had a small order of Strawberry Guava Rib Basket with fries and slaw. The food was amazing as always. But, the thing I like best about Joe’s is their Coronaritas!
